Swalek secure a long-term Solar farm High Voltage Maintenance Contract
SwaleK High Voltage services has acquired a new Solar farm high voltage maintenance contract overlooking the holiday destination of Pendine sands. Pendine Solar farm is situated on high on the hills surrounding this popular holiday village.
Pendine is a solar farm operated by European Energy in West Wales. Pendine Solar farm was constructed in 2015-2016. The Solar farm consists of two substations and inverter stations. The site is connected to the Western Power network at 33KV. The site is owned European Energy.
The site switchgear comprises of a two panel Omazabal 33KV switchboard, and two remote switching sites feeding the inverters with relay and fuse protection, house isolation transformer is situated in substation two.
