Built on decades of high‑voltage engineering expertise, our training centre is designed to provide a modern, professional environment where practical learning meets real‑world application.
As we prepare to open, we are gearing up to deliver our full suite of industry‑recognised Courses, each developed to support the competencies required across Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) networks. Delivered by Senior Authorised Engineers and technical specialists trained in line with UK DNO standards, our courses ensure every learner receives high‑quality, safety‑driven instruction.
Our specialist training portfolio will include our extensive range of Power Courses, featuring Authorised Persons training across LV, 11kV, and 33kV networks, as well as programmes such as Circuit Breaker Maintenance, HV/LV Competence Assessment, Partial Discharge Introduction & Monitoring, Safe Operation of Low Voltage Equipment (1000V), Substation & Switchroom Access, and Substation First Aid. Alongside these, we will be delivering a wide suite of technical and street‑works‑related operational courses, including Excavation on the Highway, High Voltage Familiarisation, Local Avoidance, and multiple reinstatement courses covering bituminous and non‑bituminous materials. Looking ahead, we are also preparing to introduce EUSR SHEA programmes and a series of Swalek‑Approved Courses, enabling us to provide an even broader pathway of accredited, high‑quality training to support safe working, professional development, and industry compliance.
