On further testing the MCCB was found to be faulty. A new direct replacement was ordered for next day delivery by our trusted supplier and the unit was changed. After commissioning the wind turbine was re-started and began exporting at a healthy 500kW. The customer was satisfied that the wind turbine was back online producing green energy once again.
Emergency Wind Turbine call out
Swalek were called to a loss of supply on a customer wind turbine recently. Following an investigation and test on the supply cables the MCCB was reset and power restored. With support from the wind turbine technicians the wind turbine was started. During export the MCCB tripped once again
